Anyone know where our NYS Family Leave deposits are kept by square and what reporting method they use to send them to the state?

is my understanding that it is our job to handle paid family leave. If you look at your payroll debits (pull up a payroll report) you will see it is broken down with debits handled by square and debits handled by you.. NYS disability and family leave insurance debits are handled by the employer (us). Your NYS Disability & Family Leave Insurance policy should be issued by your policy insurers.. those remittances are not handled by square and the payroll deductions are an offset to employer expense. So- when running a payroll, square is keeping track of each employees contribution but the monies are not debited from your account. Hope the make sense.
