How can I get a labor report from the app?

Is there a way to run a report showing hours worked with a way to set the date range?  For instance, I'd like to see who worked what hours this weekend.  I can do it from the dashboard but it would be way easier if I could do it on the fly from the iPad. Thanks!

That is not part of the Square app or the Square Team app.  That information is only available from the Square dashboard when you log in.  I would setup a shortcut on your homescreen to the labor and tips page of the Shifts dashboard.

I only know on an iPhone/iPad so if you use android you would need to follow other steps.

open the link in safari

https://squareup.com/dashboard/shifts/labor-and-tips

click the "share" button (box with the up arrow) in the bottom center. 

scroll down to add to Home Screen.

add a name you want

Never thought of setting up a shortcut. Thanks! I think this might work. If there are too many steps, my brother, who asked me if this was possible, won't bother but at least I tried!

Thanks for your reply, I do use the dashboard for reports daily. Was looking for something other employees could look at too.

I am disappointed with the limited reporting square offers and the lack the ability to hone in on the info I'm looking for quickly.  Our very basic POS we used before square had great reports that were easy to use from the POS itself.
