Register Update - So BAD - Please revert

Yesterday, we noticed that the interface for Square Register has been updated. These changes could NOT have been intended. Please revert back to a working version.

Just a few of the issues:

1) When using the gun to scan a bar code, it just displays the item on the left side of the screen and your have to touch it with your finger to add it to the cart. When someone is moving quickly to add items, they won't notice that nothing is being added unless they touch on it to select it after it's been scanned. Then, you've got to go back and do it all again (that is, IF you notice - if you don't notice, you will miss these sales).

2) All items are on the left side of the screen, with this big empty white space on the right, where it asks you to "add customer."

3) It's just wonky. I know that's vague, but it's SUPER not-user-friendly now and very error-prone.

The old interface has its own issues (you had to enter the quantity of the item, and THEN click a second button to add it to the cart). This was an unnecessary extra step, and was also very error-prone, because if you didn't click to add it to the cart after entering the quantity, it wouldn't add anything and you wouldn't notice unless you did an item count at the end.

Thank you for bringing this feedback to the Seller Community. I have passed your feedback on to our product team that handles updates to the Square Register. I know it can be super frustrating when updates and changes are made, especially if you do not find them user friendly.
