Star TSP100iii to older square terminal

I am trying to connect a Star Printer for a server station and currently have it connected via usb to an older Square POS that has a usb hub (1st generation)

Our other POSs have the newer ethernet hub.

The printer is recognized and prints orders from the older POS but not from the newer POSs located at the bar. I need to connect this printer to all of our points of sale. Is this possible with it connected via usb to the 1st generation POS or will I need to have it manually connected another way?

I would see if the USB printer, when connected to a newer Square Hub with ethernet has a IP address, that the hub is a Network to USB connection.  If the Printer gets an IP address then you can configure the printer by IP address.  The other thing you can look into is connecting the USB based printer to a router that can print to usb based printers.  And the last thing is finding a WiFi to Usb or a Network print server.  Then after getting your printer that it connects to your in house network, you can configure the printer as a Network printer that all POS stations can print to.  The Wifi or Print server an be found at walmart or amazon from about $23 off brand to $60 for name brand ones.  Then you can setup Printer Profiles through Square.  Here is how to setup printer Profiles through Square : https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/8245-set-up-printer-profiles

I currently have 1 networked receipt printer that prints from 6 different devices (2 Stands, 2 cell phones and 2 tablets), they all just need to be on the same wifi to print to it.  Meaning when I am at home my Cell or Tablet apps do not print to the receipt printer, just when I am at the store and on the stores wifi.

If you have any questions ask away.
