How to change the text that appears in the MEMO field of every transaction?

How do I change the information that appears in the memo field of every transaction? For some reason, it includes the name of a person who setup the account but is no longer involved.

 

This is what appears:

PREAUTHORIZED ACH DEBIT POS PORTAL INC 156xxxx xxxxx xxx NAME OF PERSON
 
I have looked through all of the settings in the online Square account -- device settings etc but cannot find anything.
 
I am new to all of this. Thanks for any help. 🙂

I’d be happy to take a closer look with our team, but I want to make sure we're on the same page first.

Are you referring to the business information displayed on customer receipts after a purchase? If so, you can edit this anytime by navigating to Account & Settings > Business Information > Receipts. For a full guide on what you can edit, please check out this page.

If you're looking to edit Square Online order confirmation emails, you can do so by going to your Square Online Dashboard, then selecting Communications > Email Notifications. Choose the order confirmation email you want to edit and customize the available fields.

If neither of these options addresses the issue, could you provide a screenshot of where you're seeing the details? Please make sure to redact any personal information before sharing.
