Round-up option for non-profit donation

Square, please add this right away.  I have been asking you all for this for literally years (as a nonprofit ourselves, we would like to give patrons an option to round up to donate to us), but businesses also need the option to help local charities.  When change is in short supply as it is now, this is even more important than ever.  It's undoubtedly a simple option to add, and most of your competitors have it.

Yes!! This is a great tool that other retailers have offered for ages. It's a shame square doesn't have it.

Hi Joe, 

Sellers have been asking for this option for a really long time. Could you please give us an update on round up buttons? Our nonprofit runs a large greenhouse operation, and a round up button would make it possible for our supportive customers to donate their change at the touch of a button. Of course we can work around this by supplying each register with a calculator and having our associates do the math manually. We're speeding up our checkout processes by using Square, so slowing back down to calculate the roundup number is counterintuitive. I'd really like to see square working on this feature!

We don’t have a current update for this feature, we continue to gather details from other sellers. In the meantime, you can sign up to be part of our Beta Program to help us improve Square’s newest tools. Hello!

Would LOVE for it be customizable to change  ‘Tip’ at the end of orders to ’Donate’ giving customers a chance to ‘round up’ their change to donate and/or donate a $1 or more. The ‘round up option’ is proven to be a great way to collect donations from folks who are already supporting with their merchandise purchase.
