HI, you are not doing anything wrong. Do you have Instagram? Do you have Twitter? Do you sell "common" inventory (something everyone else is selling)? Do you have brick and mortar store also? Do you sell on Etsy, eBay, Mercari, Poshmark?

This is a great question and I wanted to get you in touch with some of our experience sellers. I moved your post to a thread where one of our Super Sellers have some good ideas you could try.
Also, feel free to tag them directly for some sage advice.
Thank you!

It probably isn't you are doing anything wrong. It takes time to build a business. If you are selling online, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook are huge drivers of sales. Etsy is another great site to sell on. It also kinda depends on what you are selling.

Agree to and to add to what @VanKalkerFarms @Goldneye
Depending on what exactly it is that you are selling, and can offer the market may be a bit more tricky to get into and get/keep customers starting off.
Everyone (myself included) always seems to say the first step is to run right to social media and start dropping money on ads, and you will instantly get amazing sales. It is a lot of work starting out on Social Mediam unless you already have the background and know how of how it works.
I don't have a huge understanding of how it works, so I don't like to run paid ads because I always feel like that few hundred I spent could have been put toward something better. Again, mainly because I can only look at the cool graphs, they are in a different language to me.
Algorithms are always changing, but if you are looking to stay on top of Social Media, I would dive into every know how and how to their was to learn about how the algorithms first before running more paid ads.
Here is some great advice to check on exposure. And here is a great place that offer some great advice and tutorials you can check through if you have some down time. A lot of things that you can do to help boost are low or free of cost, but will take some of your time to do. But these are things that will help boost your overall web SEO. You probably won't see any improvements over night most likely, and it will take some time to get out there, but again this are free to low cost options you can do just get your name and brand out there in different areas that you may no have thought of.
Best of luck and don't give up.
