👋 Hello friends! 👋
Made a site using Square Online? Let's use this thread to show it off! I'd love to see the websites, online stores, and online ordering pages you've made. Sharing them can also be helpful for others who are looking for inspiration for their own sites.

Square Online
Pretty much most of it.
I keep thinking about just resetting the whole website and starting all over again, but am wondering if I don't need a multi-page website because of the different shops, or will that be a deterrent? I find Square to be extremely limited in what I can and cannot do, nor do I find it to be particularly user friendly, but I am not really sure there are any other platforms that are. I have tried a few others that people recommended and said were easy, but Square is the easiest I have found yet, despite its limitations. GoDaddy comes in second for me, but it is a bit more confusing than Square.
I have a difficult time learning from video tutorials, if I can even find them, and I learn better hands on than reading or watching someone else doing it, which is actually a detriment to me because of all the video tutorials available on YouTube and such. It takes me longer to process the information than it does most people.
If I could actually learn to code, I would so love to code my own website, lol. I have tried to learn, but all the coding rules just go right over my head. 😕
Sorry that you are running into issues and not finding it super user friendly! Are you looking to drive traffic to this shop as being the main place to buy products or is the goal of this site just to create awareness of the other shops where you sell online?
If that is the case, maybe a simple landing page will do with links to each one of your respective shops. Or you can use this website as a store that exclusively sells certain items that aren't offered on other shops. That way, customers know to come here instead of another place.
Websites are always a work in progress and I try and keep it simple and minimal to where there are only a few items and options to click around for the customer. Otherwise they might get overwhelmed and leave.
I would like to drive traffic to my shops so I can start making a living. To do that, I need to make people aware the shops even exist, so technically, my answer is both. Right now I am just barely scraping by on my sole source of income.
I already tried links to my other shops, but I wasn't getting any traffic despite posting on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. Someone told me that I should link directly to my designs, but I realized that isn't exactly the best option either, because of the availability of the designs in many different sizes and colors. The site would become inundated with way too many items to sift through.
I have each design set up in a collection of the different sizes and colors for the design, so what I think I will try to do is create images with some pictures of mockups with the design applied to home decor and walls, along with a list of available colors and sizes of each design, and link each image to the collection in my shop, so customers can actually view the different sizes and colors inside the collection and choose whatever suits them best.
Whichever item they select, they can then click on that particular item, and from there they can choose if they want to order fabric, wallpaper, or a finished home decor item available from the site.
Mainly I am focusing on my Spoonflower shop. I am sure I will come up with obstacles when trying to list items from my other shops as well, so I am just going to focus on one shop at a time until I have everything organized. Each of these shops is different from one another in how they operate and how they are to be listed, so what works for one shop may not work for another.
I think that your game plan sounds solid and something definitely worth trying!
