Hi there! Is it possible to create a discount rule for a specific quantity of items? For instance, if a customer buys 10 of the same item, they get 10% off the total price for those 10 items

You would need to create an Item called All 4 and have it setup as a Bundle.
Here is more about Bundles : New-Create-and-Sell-Bundles-for-Retail
The only thing with these bundles is that the end purchasur cannot choose 2 red and 2 Blue for example as a Bundle of 4, but would only be allowed to purchase the 4 items you have in your bundle. I believe you can select Variations of an Item for the Bundle. I just forget if at the time I had my soaps and lotions as individual items or if the were Variations of Soap item for example.

Yes.
Here is how to create Discounts:
3955-create-and-manage-discounts
You can create an auto matic discount that automatically applies 10% off when they buy 10 items from a certain category or if they by 10 items of the samething. Youmay have to do the Math first before setting up the 10% discount. Square would apply 10% off of each item, not what you want. So add up the 10 items cost and write down what 10% off would be as a Dollar amount. This gives you the Total cost of the 10 items after the 10% discount. Now when you setup your Discount as a % play around with the % amount untill you get the price after a 10% discount comes up.
So I sell bracelets $8.99 or 3 for $20.00 So each bracelet would cost 6.666666667.
So the after discount price is 74.156647015 of the price, So the discount would be about 25.8434 per item.
Here is what my Discount looks like
The issue is Square takes off the Discount amount Per item, so you would need to reverse engineer the discount as shown above. It can be done but its not as easy as apply 10% off these 10 items when sold at a total of $XXX.xx

Thanks for getting back to me! I have a specific question about tracking stock with discounts.
I sell an item with 4 variations, and there's an option where customers can purchase 4 towels (all 4 colors) with an $8 discount. Here’s the link for reference:
Flour Sack Towels - Handmade Block Print
Is there a way to set up a stock tracking system so that when a customer orders the 4 towels with the discount, the stock for each variation is accurately reduced?
I ask because with the discount option you mentioned earlier, it allows customers to select 4 items, but they can all be the same variation, whereas I need to allow for different variations to be selected.
Thanks so much for your help!

Yes that is also easy to do.
Item as Flour Sack and then have your colors as Variations with a Unique SKU for each color. If you have Square for retail, Square can create SKUs for your items and variations.
- Red SKU Red1
- Blue SKU Blue1
- Magenta SKU Magenta1
- Gold SKU Gold1
- All for SKU 1ofall4
Each Variation can have unique SKUs and a Unique price. Your Discount would be on the Item level which would apply down to the Variation level.
SKU's you can make up but can not be duplicated for all your Items. I try to keep my SKUs under 30 characters, the SKUs Square creates are about 7 Characters long.
Here is an image of my Item 4 pc Leaves Holder, which has 4 variations based on Votive Holder and Led Tea Light options.

Thank you for your help!
What I mean is, if someone purchases the "All Four," Square would automatically deduct 1 item each from the Gold, Magenta, Purple, and Blue. Do you know if this is possible?
