Bulk Edit Item Modifiers - Square Online

Hello,

Just wondering does anyone know of a quick way to add modifiers to multiple listings?

I want to add the same modifier to hundreds of items, and really don't want to have to go into each one 😞

@danscape totally a missing feature for the online store dash! 

As long as it’s not a text entry modifier (only available online) then I’ve gone & set it up on the first item, given it an hour or so for everything to sync over then gone into the normal square dash & the option is there under ‘Items; Modifiers’ to apply to items. 

Not the cleanest/simplest way - but better than going through each item by far 😂

Hi @danscape, thank you for reaching out! At the moment, applying modifiers isn't one of the bulk edit actions (this will only allow you to either make items unavailable, changing their fulfilment types or adding them to categories) but I can definitely see how it'd be an useful feature for the Square Online site so that'll definitely be added to the list of feature requests.

I think for the moment, @Sam_400º's suggestion is the best workaround for this!

@tranguyen @danscape @Sam_400º Has there been any progress on this as I would like to add a text entry modifier to a significant number of listings. This in itself is a workaround as Square online does not collect address details for collection orders. I need these for warranty purposes and to keep collections as contactless as possible in the current Covid climate.

This is definitely a much-needed option for bulk edit!  I want to add a custom text box to each item in Square, and it's going to take me forever to do them one-by-one!
