Story not showing (again!!)

Hi,

Once again the Story functionality is playing up.

Have created a story at https://www.muntons.net/s/stories/how-to-train-your-shrubs-and-climbers

But only the header image is showing, not the rest of the article??

Can someone at Square take a look as this has happened previously.

It only shows content in the 'Story content' block, even though it clearly says in the help pages that we can put other content types underneath the initial 'Story content' block.

This really needs to be fixed as the 'Story content' block only allows one image and text, that's it!

Can you let me know asap if this is a known bug?

It looks fine in preview mode too. Just doesn't display properly on the public site.

Hi @MattMM, thanks for flagging that! That does look quite strange -- I've raised this with our eCommerce team so they can investigate this further. Once I have an update from the team, I'll be sure to reach out and let you know immediately.

Looks like the site uses a deprecated JS file which might be causing issues outside of the initial 'Story content' block.

Here's a screenshot of my browser console, there are loads of error/warning messages:

Will just have to use text-only blogs/stories for the moment 😞

Thanks for sending the on screenshot @MattMM! Our team are aware of the issue and they are working to provide a fix for this. I don't have an update just yet, but once I have more information I'll be sure to reach back out and let you know immediately.

Stories is only showing content from the ‘Story content’ block at the top of the page, where you can only put one image and some text, which is a bit naff. It does say you can put other content underneath, but this seems to be being blocked for some reason.

Hi @MattMM, really sorry that the issue has taken a bit longer than expected to be resolved! Our team are working in this right now but I don't have any further update just yet. Once the team confirm the issue is fully resolved, I'll be sure to reach back out and let you know immediately.

Surely you can move a little faster to solve this problem for us??

Thanks for checking in @MattMM! I haven't received an update from the team yet but I've reached out to them again for more information. Once I have more to share I'll be sure to update this thread immediately. I really appreciate your patience and sticking with us while the team work to resolve this.

Hi @MattMM, I just want to follow-up and let you know the team have rolled out a fix yesterday. The full stories should now be accessible. I've tested this on my end and I was able to see all the elements but let me know if you are encountering any issue and I can have a further look into it!
