Square Online: 'Test your site live Something went wrong. Please try again.'

Hi,

Trying to add an item to sell online and every time I click on

...

Save and View

Test your site live
Something went wrong.

Please try again.

Appears.

Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the Weebly>Square page updating?

I am confused.

Thanks,

NB

@GLG and @NoBeard thanks for posting this. I've done some digging for you guys and at the moment this is a known issue with Weebly. I don't have an estimated ETA for a fix, but as a workaround you can always publish your site and unpublish it immediately if you notice an error.

@NoBeard - That message sounds like it could be related to browser issues. Have you tried browser troubleshooting yet?

If you're still getting the same error after, Let me know so I can let our Weebly Experts know. It wouldn't hurt sending a screenshot also if you can.

I have the same issue & have for weeks, every single time I try to preview. Not a browser issue. Here is a screenshot of the warning, though it's not helpful.

Is there something I should have enabled or prepared before previewing?

I found there's another place to go to test it live and that the link I was using and getting exactly the same error just doesn't work.

If I can figure out what I did that was different I'll post it, I'm old and these things I forget too easily!

@GLG I'm not able to see the screenshot you added for some reason. Have you tried clearing your browsing history or signing out of your account and then signing back in again? Or you could try switching to another browser like Chrome or Firefox.

@NoBeard If you do remember what you did let us know!

Screen Shot 2020-04-23 at 5.53.55 AM.pngI forgot to attach, apparently. But it says the same thing I said that it says. I have done all troubleshooting. Is there something I am supposed to do before I can see it live? Connect something, click a button...

I think AshleyK has nailed it. I ended up publishing and checking then unpublishing again.
