Delivery day and time

Hi there,

 

I’ve built my square store for our home delivery service. I’m having difficulties with customising options for deliveries - example I have set up opening Thursday and Friday 5:00pm-8:00pm.

and customers wants to order for Friday but they can not nominate the day and time.

 

I would like to request features of

1. Customers can specify the delivery day and time instead of auto configuration.

 

at this stage, I’m asking customers to leave a note where “Tell us where to leave the order and how to contact you” section. *at least I would like to change this content to “please specify your delivery day and time”

 

please let me know how I would be able to amend the contents.

The section you want to check out is Scheduled Delivery - you can find it on your Online Store dashboard via Settings > Pickup & Delivery > Edit Location > Order timing settings > Edit.

Hi @Seamus ,

I have the same issue. I have made all the changes you have suggested to the other querie however it is still not active. Does it take 24 hours or so to activate or should it be instant??

Hey @mintygreenhouse,

 

Making changes to your opening hours and delivery settings should be instant - though if you're testing live you'll want to empty your cart, refresh the page and start the checkout process again to check.
