Can I bulk edit items availability on Square Online

Hello,

I’m working on filling up my site for a relaunch. I have a vintage shop and want to release a collection of 10 to 20 items every week, but have them all become live to shop every Sunday at 7pm.

This is to help create some excitement about new products and a good way to get the site filled without the daunting task of doing every item at once. 

Is there a way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. I’m more of a pen and paper person, so I’m very new to e-commerce

Hi @Victoria1984, thanks for your post and welcome to the Seller Community. 🙂 

With the current settings for Square Online, any changes made to your catalog need to be manually adjusted. 

 What you could do here is create all of your items and add them to your site at your leisure but keep them hidden so that they won't be visible yet.

Then on Sunday just before 7, you can use our bulk edit tool to make them all as visible.

You can learn about bulk editing your catalog from this support centre article. It is a manual process but it's definitely much quicker than publishing your items one by one.

Thanks so much. This would work perfectly. It will be great to add items through the week and then make then all visible at once.

you can follow the instructions above but can actually schedule the changes (it’ll pop up with the option as you go though) - really nice recent addition 👍
