Subscription Organization with Clients

I did not see a category for "Payment -> Subscriptions" so I am writing here.

 

I would like to see square do some improvements with their Subscriptions.  

1) Organization:  A way to sort my clients by name, by payment dates, current or cancelled, by failed payments, or by subscriptions types.  I should also be able to look up a client history and see all payments made both through subscription and through the store or online.   You should be able to separate those views if needed.

2) Notifications:  I get an email for every payment that goes through (which I wish I could get that turned off - 20 or more in a day is silly) and I wish I would get alerts for the subscriptions that get cancelled or failed payment  If I was to get a report of the client payments that went through, it would be nice if it was one email report.   Maybe, an email that has listed all the clients that paid and all the clients that cancelled or failed payment.

3) Follow up with Payment:  My old subscription service would automatically try for a designated time (I always had mine set for 5 days) to keep getting the payment.  So if the payment fails on the 20th, it would automatically try again once each day on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th & 25th.   Often, clients want to make the payment but there can be various reasons why the credit card gets declined on the first day.

4) Updates:  I wish I could update a clients subscription instead of having it cancelled and start all over.  Makes for organizational nightmare.   I have clients who occasionally change their subscription.   I need to be able to update the credit card information, address information, the subscription type and payment dates.  I should be able to change "forever" and put an end date (or vice versa) should a client tell me that they want to cancel on a certain month.  The payment amounts should be changeable should prices rise or lower.

 

I am currently moving my accounts from a previous platform to square because I do like a lot of the features that you offer.  My old platform had these features.   But if the subscription system is not improved, then I may consider just looking for a different platform for automatic payments.
