Recently, one of my customers let me know they are being sent emails for an item already that they have not picked up yet. Currently, I have an item set as an event as pre-ordering is not yet available. The date for the pickup/event is November 19th. They are receiving emails for review almost a month before it happens.

HI, since your items are pre-order the system does not know the items have not been received. You can disable item reviews. (its an either/or situation, either you have reviews or you don't)

The problem lies though it is an "event" set to begin a month or more out from the time of purchase.. So, technically they have not received anything.
For example, you buy a ticket for Concert months in advanced, and you don't get sent an email asking how was the concert a week later after you bought the ticket asking how the concert was. The concert is still weeks away.

HI, yes, understood. Its either you have reviews turned on OR you don't.
