How to prevent interac debit cards

Hello,

I am in Canada. I have the square contactless reader, I do not want interac debit cards to be used on the machine, since I have a separate reader from my bank for these debit card transactions that are cheaper then square.

I still want credit cards such as mastercard etc to be proccessed by square reader, but I do not want interac debit cards. 

Is this possible?

My employees get mixed up with the two, and charge debit cards on the square reader, which costs me more money. I want to prevent this from happening at all, and only want credit cards to be used on the square reader

Alhough there's no way to disable Interac debit card acceptance in the POS, I see how this saves you money and causes confusion for your customers. 

For now, you'll need to tell your customers to pay with a different payment method or post a sign next to your Square POS device that shows the payment methods you accept.
