Turn off discount option for specific item

I would like to keep staff from applying discounts to certain items in a sale. Is this possible?

I just tried this. It seems it is asking if I want the discount applied at all times to certain items? I don't want and automatic discount on all items - or just specific ones - I want the opposite. A few items will never be discounted in a sale whether the person selects discount or not. Does that make sense?

Hi @sugarloaf,

When creating discounts you have the ability to apply discounts to certain items. Then also enable passcode so that is required in order to use the discount. 

If you would like to remove a discount from an item you can do that at the time of checkout. just click on the specific item and remove the discount from it.

This suggestion still requires manual intervention by employee.  This needs to be a system setting.
