How do I access the sales taxes I've collected through the Square so I can pay my taxes?
Any help?

@LaurieCoombs did you get this figured out? I am new to this and seem to be having the same issue. I assumed the taxes would be sent to my DDA and that Square would only withhold the fees... Not what I'm seeing!

Hey @HughesOutdoors,
@VanKalkerFarms answered this above with the Support Center article and how to select date range on the Tax Reporting page.

Good day, I see the "Tax Collected" section but how do I get the money from my Square account to pay my state taxes?

Welcome to the Community, @ACUPDIVINE18 -
Do you have a sales tax set up on for your payments? If so, those would be added to the payments and would be included in your transfers. They don't have a separate transfer.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I need to circle back with this one.

Just trying to clarify the taxes collected question… basically, I’m understanding Square collects the taxes for each item and includes that in our bank transfer. This means we’d need to pay those taxes that were collected to the State, is that correct? In the Etsy system taxes are collected and automatically remitted to the Stste, but not so with Square, right?

@mghizzoni That is correct. You are transferred all of the funds you collect minus square's processing fees. It is up to you to report and file all state and local sales taxes you are required to collect.
