Sync Shifts with Google Calendar?

Hi there,

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync Square Shifts with Google Calendar? So that the shifts in Square will appear in a Google Calendar?

This would be incredibly useful as we like to manage our shifts in Square, but the convenience of a calendar is great both to the employer and the employees as calendars are much easier to access and it helps avoid clashing of plans with other non-work related matters.

Thanks for sharing this @skafte! I can definitely see how it'd be a useful feature to have. From looking into this, it isn't possible to sync Square Shifts with Google Calendar at the moment but I'll definitely share this with the Product team in charge.

Just following up on this in the hope that a Google Cal sync feature is in the pipeline. Any news on this?

We're still only using Google Cal for our rota, but would love to move over to using Square instead and get full advantage of our Team Plus subscription. However, we can't do that as long as we cannot sync with Google Cal as we're also using that in ways that Square isn't able to as it's not an actual calendar. Hope that makes sense. A sync feature would solve this problem and allow us to manage our rota in Square whilst also keeping our calendar up to date.

Thanks for following up on this @skafte! Unfortunately at the moment there is no further news on when it may be possible to sync shifts in Team Plus with Google Calendar. I will keep my ears to the ground and if there's anything I can share at all, I'll be sure to let you know!
