Order taken and manually entered, what is my liability and for how long?

We took an e-mail order for 2060.00 from someone we dont know, the order was processed manually and approved. What is my liability, when would it end...?  should we ship the order?

you can have a chargeback against you for a transaction for up to 90 or more depending on the customer's bank.  They can initiate a chargeback as long as it is in their bank's window allowing it.

It is up to you whether you believe the charge and customer to be a valid transaction.
