Item Stock Counts remain after product deletion? (API)
While working with Square's API, I have been fetching all the stock counts on record.
When I do this, I appear to be getting stock counts for products that have since been deleted from the catalog. This results in the given catalog_object_id failing to resolve a product.
Is this a bug, or simply how it works? Is there any way to clear these counts? I can see this resulting in growing loading times over a few years.

So sorry this got lost, @Dot2DotStudio! I'm not too sure myself so I've reached out to our API Engineering team for their advice. Once I have an answer, I'll be sure to follow up on this thread.

Hi @Dot2DotStudio, I just want to circle back on this. The team have let me know that unfortunately, this is how the API works at the moment. I will flag this as a feature request so that the team can look at it for future releases. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you in the meantime.
