Although Square exports directly into my QuickBooks Online account, the monthly totals don't always seem to match. When I look at the summary report, I don't see a way to tell what numbers went into making that total, which would be very helpful in comparing to QBO. It would be helpful if I could click on the items total, or discount total, etc. and see what transactions were part of that total, just like I can in QBO. Then I could compare the two.
Does anyone know a way to access this information? Thanks in advance!

Great question!
when you go to your report you can click the three dots on the top right hand side and hit see details.
then must things have an arrow next to them that cause the category to drop down and expand.
also shows discounts as well!
