How do I resend an employee invitation when the option isn't available?

As instructed in the Employee Managment help article (https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5591-employee-management) I am attempting to resend an employee invitation to login and receive access. However, I cannot find any "Resend Invitation" box, option, or any sort of selection anywhere in my employee list or elsewhere on my dashboard. Previous questions of this type have simply been directed to the Employee Management article listed above, which does not actually the answer the question of where to go to select the "Resend Invitation" box. What are the actual steps to resend an employee invitation?

Sorry that Support Center article wasn't what you were looking for, I think I might be able to clarify. If your employee didn't receive their invite, you may be able to resend directly from the website but if you are not seeing that option you can simply have them reset their logins directly from the Square website

 

To do so, have them enter the email address that the invite was originally sent too then, select Forgot Password at squareup.com/login. Once your employee resets their password, they should be able to log in their account and view the invitation.

The invite I previously sent my employee has since expired. I had my employee "forget" her password and create a new one to see if the option to "resend" the invite would appear on my end. It did not. So now what do I do? I need to get her connected and this is incredibly frustrating. I have spent the last hour trying to figure this out with no success.

@kalowry, you took the correct action! Once the password has been reset it should log the employee on to their personal dashboard. After this you will not have to resend the invitation.

So no action is needed by me, the owner? My employee never accepted the invitation email so I am not sure she will be linked.

How would they reset their logins if they never accepted the invitation and created an account?

Employee's invites can either be resent from your end via the Dashboard, or they can enter their email address on the log in page and hit forgot password - because their email address was entered in to the Dashboard by you, they'll receive a link.

Take a look at the Best Answer in this thread @RPenalber! The person you previously invited to Mobile Staff needs to go to squareup.com/login > they enter the same email address they used to accept payments for you in the past > select Forgot Password. We'll email them a password reset link.

 

After they've reset their password they can sign in and they'll be able to take payments from the Point of Sale app for your business again!

A lot of my team members are not very password sophisticated.  They are reluctant to change their password.  And they shouldn't have to.  The actual issue here is why can't I see the link to resend the invitation?  Is it a browser setting?  It's difficult when there is no help available except klunky workarounds.  Someone suggested I search Square and Invitation in my mail box.  That returns HUNDREDS of mail.

 

Really looking for real help not canned workarounds.

Got a real explanation from Ray on tech chat support.  Even though these team members have no recollection of accepting the invitation, in fact they have done so.  Therefore, the invitation to resend cannot be displayed.  That is why they must reset their password if they can't get on to square.  It's not so much a workaround for the invitation--that has already worked fine.  It's just a standard can't remember my password situation.
