[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Change Delivery Fee for different locations]
We are a mobile only business.
Is it possible to:
1 - change the delivery fee based on traveling to different locations (charge more for further locations)
2 - List city/town names instead of using the Delivery Radius (we are located near mountains, which are included in the radius, but where we do not deliver to)
Thanks for your help!

Hey @lali-
Thanks for reaching back out on our Seller Community.
1) As of right now, it is not possible to adjust the delivery fee based on location. That's a great suggestion, and hopefully one we'll launch in the future as we build out our delivery feature more.
2) As of right now, that's not something we can adjust in delivery settings. I would suggest putting that information somewhere on your website if you want to make it clear to customers in the meantime.
This is great insight, and I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out. I'll make sure to pass this along to our Online Store Product Team, as I think it's something other sellers make a great use of.

Hey @eKernallyYours! I really like your business name! Very clever.
As of right now, we do not have a way to adjust delivery fees/cost per location/radius. For right now, I would try to find a delivery fee that you're comfortable with based on the multiple locations you deliver to.
When I have an update on this feature request, I will definitely post it in this thread. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Yes, if you go with wooCommerce and set up zip codes as regions and a plug-in it can be done. If you go with Shopify it can be done too. In both cases you can also use a Square Up payment gateway. However, truth is its kind of expensive in the long run because everything is an extra service.
I too was in great hopes that sales tax and zip codes for delivery services would be Square up only to be quickly disappointed.

Hi @FaithAnnsUnique You mentioned delivery charges (based on radius or zip codes) and I just wanted to clarify that you can setup delivery fees based on zip codes, or you can create a tiered delivery fee based on radius distance.
Navigate to the Square Online Overview page and click Settings>Pickup & Delivery>Edit Location>Delivery Settings.
For the zip code option, enter the zip codes that you will allow deliveries for. Note; it's only possible to create one fee for all of your zip codes.
If you switch to the radius option you will have the choice to charge the delivery fee based on distance. You can add additional fee options to break down the cost per mile. You also have an option to add a fallback rate.

Why does it give us the option to create distance-based fees if the function doesn't acutally work? Quite frustrating, seems like a simple function that should be here as all of your competitors seem to have this feature.

Hey there, @WineSneak -
I don't have a current update for you on this particular feature request.
I would recommend posting this on our Ideate Board where posts get a status update throughout the Feature Request process to keep you in the loop.
Also, you can tag other sellers to add their voice to your request too.
Thank you!
