Hi Sellers! 👋
Square supports charging price inclusive taxes. When taxes are set to be inclusive, the price of each item sold will already include the tax. These taxes can be added as you set up a new subscription.
On Square Dashboard and Square Point of Sale, Square Subscriptions now supports charging price inclusive taxes on new subscriptions. To add an inclusive tax on a new subscription, tap Sales tax and add the percent amount on the modal under Tax Amount. Check the box for “include tax in subscription price” and tap Save.
Above is an example of what you will see when you create a new subscription from your Square Point of Sale with price inclusive taxes enabled. In this case, the customer is purchasing an item for $50 from a seller with a 3% price inclusive value-added tax enabled.
