The first month of 2024 has flown by and we are well into February! In fact, today we are halfway through the month and it happens to be Valentine's Day. 🥰 We hope you are staying warm and dry, wherever you are! Here is the monthly roundup of all the new features and product updates posted in the US Seller Community in January 2024.

1. [New] Drag and Drop to reschedule appointments available on iOS and Android Square Appointments apps

1. [New] Drag and Drop to reschedule appointments available on iOS and Android Square Appointments apps

🏷 Square Appointments

Some of you have been asking for the ability to drag and drop appointments on the calendar to reschedule them. If you're on app version 6.31 or later on iOS or Android, you should now be able to do this! Want us to keep working on new drag and drop features? Let us know which ones and why below (ie the ability to drag from 1 service provider to another or drag to lengthen or shorten an appointment)!

2. [New] Restaurants POS, redesigned with you in mind: opt in today

We’ve redesigned the Square Restaurants POS to make it easier to navigate and stay productive throughout service. This redesign includes highly requested features and a new look and feel, and we’re excited to share it with you!

3. [Migration Required] KDS Sellers Must Switch to Android

🏷️ Square Restaurant KDS

This is a reminder that Square KDS on iOS is being retired. As of June 28, 2024, you will no longer be able to view or complete order tickets on the iOS app. If you use our kitchen display system on an iPad, please begin your move to Android. How to move forward: Decide what Android device screen size(s) you want to move forward with. You should also consider trading in your iPad with Apple.

4. Important update to your coupons on Square Online

If you have existing coupons on Square Online, we wanted to notify you of some upcoming changes to your coupons on Square Online. Starting on March 25, 2024, creating and managing coupons is moving from your Square Online dashboard to Square Marketing, our product suite of marketing automation tools.

5. [New] Share spending power with your business partners with Square Debit Cards

🏷️ Square Checking & Savings

Now you can get up to four additional Square Debit Cards for your business (five total including business owner). By sharing spending power with your team, multiple stakeholders can spend from your business’s Square Checking balance. With Square Debit Cards, it’s easier to keep your business moving.

6. [New] Invoices Project board view - Easily view, manage, and organize your jobs

🏷️ Square Invoices

Work smarter — not harder — with the new board view in Projects that shows your full pipeline at a glance. Organize, customize, and monitor the phases of your current and upcoming jobs to easily keep track of them all in one place. To view this, select the Board view filter. With this, you can categorize projects into different segments, including Inquiry, Proposal, and Completed.
