1. [New] Late Fees for Square Invoices

Based on your feedback, we are excited to introduce a new way to help you avoid late payments on invoices and protect your cash flow with Late Fees - available now for all Invoices sellers in the US and Canada. With late fees, you’ll be able to set clear expectations with your customers around the penalty for paying an invoice late.

2. [New] Launching Future Bookings Report for Appointments Plus and Premium Subscribers

We’re excited to share with you the 2nd Appointments specific report called the Future Bookings report. This new report will let you look forward on your calendar and project out how much revenue you’re expected to make and how utilized you’re expected to be based on the bookings you have today.

3. [New] Printer Profiles

🏷️ Square Dashboard, Square Point of Sale App

What’s new? Printer Profiles! Printer Profiles are printer settings which are shared across devices and locations. Printer Profiles can be created and updated on Point of Sale or on Square dashboard. Updates sync across all devices. Printer Profiles will replace Printer Stations.

4. [Improvement] Label Printing on Square for Retail Plus

🏷️ Square Register, Square Stand

Create and Print barcode labels from new devices! In addition to Square Dashboard, you can now access label printing on your Square Register, Square Stand, iPhone and iPad. This functionality is available to Square for Retail Plus subscribers only. You and your staff now have easy access to quickly create and print various label sizes to fit your products.

5. [Improvement] More ways to move your money between Square accounts

🏷️ Square Checking & Savings

We’ve made it easier to manage your money on Square. As more sellers bank with Square and store balances in their Square Checking and Savings accounts, these improvements will help make budgeting easier — keeping you in control of your cash flow.  Now you can move funds instantly between your Square Checking accounts for easier budgeting and planning.

6. [Announcement] Updates to the Square for Retail Plus plan

🏷️ Square for Retail

Since introducing Square for Retail Plus in 2017, we have launched over 100 features including inventory stock counting, sell-through inventory reporting, and Cost of Good Sold reporting. Starting November 14, 2023, the Square for Retail Plus subscription will reflect an updated price of $89/month per location for new subscribers to reflect the increased value of the current software offering. This change allows Square for Retail to continue investing into an innovative POS solution that can support a retail seller's business needs and service more complex retail operations.

7. [New] Itemized Subscriptions and Configurable Tip Amounts for Payment Links

🏷️ Square Online Checkout

We’ve made some updates to Square Online Checkout payment links over the past few weeks to help drive recurring revenue and improve the tipping experience. You can now accept weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual payments for items in your catalog from multiple customers with a single payment link.
