You can now capture your customers’ attention and showcase your brand through a series of rotating images on Square Terminal. Easily add your business name, logo, and any information you want your customers to see, which can be changed at any time. This new feature is just one more way we’re helping your business build trust with your customers.

2. [New] Appointments Service Type Booking Filter & Suggested Templates

We are introducing a new booked service filter and the ability to segment booking dates over a span of time (e.g. booked between 1/1-5/1), as well as suggested smart group templates built specifically for Appointments sellers. And as a reminder, we also have filters available for last booking date, first booking date, and booked with. Segmenting your clients allows you to more quickly and effectively communicate with them, as well as understand their booking habits.

We know managing multiple locations can be a challenge, and you want to give clients the choice to decide which location to go to based on proximity, services offered, preferred staff, etc. We recently rolled out a few improvements to make managing bookings at your locations easier.

7. [New] Subscriptions CSV Download Tool

It is important for you to have your finger on the pulse of your subscription business! Having the ability to access all of your subscription data allows you to:

8. An Important Update About Square KDS on iOS
🏷️ Square Restaurant KDS
Earlier this year, we launched Square KDS on Android, offering sellers larger devices that display up to 10 more tickets than an iPad, and offering 45% less expensive 10” devices. We’ve also released exciting new features on Android that add control over ticket filtering by dining type (i.e. dine-in vs. to-go) and item category (i.e. hot, cold, appetizer). Plus, Bump Bar compatibility will be available exclusively to KDS on Android later this year.

9. [New] Create and Sell Bundles for Retail
🏷️ Square Dashboard, Square Retail POS, Square Subscriptions
We’re excited to announce that we’ve added the ability for Square for Retail Plus sellers to create and manage Bundles in Square Dashboard! This feature allows you to combine multiple components into one item bundle and sell those items together while still having the ability to track inventory of the individual components. This is great for all types of retail sellers that want to create gift sets, product sets and can even be used with Square Subscriptions.

10. [Update] Pickup and Delivery Settings in Dashboard
🏷️ Square Online
We recently made an update to the pickup and delivery fulfillment settings for your Square account. All of the existing pickup and delivery settings from Square Online were moved to its new location in the Account and Settings page within Square Dashboard. Any updates to the pickup and delivery preferences will now be automatically updated for both in-store and online orders.

11. [New] Identify Customers with QR Code/Barcode Scanning
🏷️ Square Restaurant POS
We’re excited to share that with Square for Restaurants, you can now identify diners by scanning their barcode or QR code using a physical scanner or camera via the Square for Restaurants app on iPad. This feature helps you know who your diners are, faster, by surfacing their information, preferences, and order history.

12. [New] Dashboard Android App Beta

We’re thrilled to announce that the Square Dashboard app is now available on Android for beta testing! We know it’s important to keep a finger on the pulse of your business. With the Dashboard app’s reporting features, you can track sales week over week or year over year. Compare sales at multiple locations and gain valuable insights into your best-selling products and categories.
