[Migration Required] KDS Sellers Must Switch to Android
Hi Sellers, 👋
This is a reminder that Square KDS on iOS is being retired. As of June 30, 2025, you will no longer be able to view or complete order tickets on the iOS app. If you use our kitchen display system on an iPad, please begin your move to Android.
How to move forward:
- Decide what Android device screen size(s) you want to move forward with. You should also consider trading in your iPad with Apple.
- Purchase a new device if you need to. It is important that you do this today for at least one device. >> Get a 10” device or >> See larger options. Buy without a commitment; all devices on Shop come with a 30-day return policy.
- Download the Android app (the same app, enhanced with most-asked-for features) to begin using new features. Check out our getting started guide for a step-by-step walkthrough to activate the app.
