Sellers who are using scheduling functionality can now Interact with your schedule in a new way through day view filters. Ensure proper coverage and visualize the days ahead!
One gap for creating schedules has been the inability to visualize scheduled shifts on an hour-by-hour level to assess coverage. Until now, each shift was represented as an identical block on the schedule rather than across a time scale making it hard for sellers to spot gaps in staffing. Now, sellers can easily assess coverage and make seamless adjustments to their schedule to dial up or down staffing each day.
We believe this work will benefit sellers by making them more efficient when scheduling and also provide benefits to their employees by minimizing the pain of scheduling adjustments that may have been missed.
To access this new functionality, go to your Square Dashboard and select Staff & Payroll > Shifts > Scheduling > Schedule and where it says “Week,” you can drop down to “Day” to see the hour by hour view.
