Data lost on the PoS, which is still in Square on the PC

I love the system, and have been adding my stock onto the dashboard. There is a lot of it, as I run a haberdashery. Lately, I find when I use the PoS reader that some data is lost, prices, some pictures, some stock info. When I check on the PC, the data is still there. Also, sometimes it won't load reports. I use mobile hotspotting to connect the PoS. Do I have too much data? Or would I not have this problem if I connected via wifi? Thanks in advance for your help. Jos

Hi @JosClark, thanks for posting 🙂 

 

It sounds to me like there is a bit of a delay in data from your Dashboard transferring over to your app. I would suggest checking that all of your apps/software is up to date, as lags like this are usually a result of outdated software. Any updates you make on the Dashboard should automatically correspond with your app.

Your reports should load but yes if they are not working, I'd suggest testing it while connected to WiFi rather than mobile data.
