phone app and online store not synced?

I take pics of my items on my phone.  Recently I discovered that instead of uploading them to my computer to add them, I could do it right from my point of sale app.....at least I thought so.  The items. I added are not showing up on my online store.  Any solutions?  It's just faster to add them straight from my phone instead of uploading to my computer then adding to the site, so I'd love to be able to have this work.

I found that I can and a create an item on the Square App, upload the picture and assign it a category, but it won't show up in my online store unless I go into the Square Dashboard on my laptop and find the item and make it 'visible' and assign it a category. This just seems like extra work to me.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but adding it to Square App is so much easier because like @tfnpendants, I take the photos with my phone. I wish the Square App would sync everything to my online store instead of just a few things you have to input for an item. 

Let me know if you found a more streamlined way to add items instead of uploading photos from phone to computer.

I'm frustrated by this lack of functionality in the Square app, as well. Looks like I can use a web browser on my phone to access my online store, instead. And now I see a Weebly app? I'll download that and give it a try. Cheers, hope this is helpful for now.
