I keep getting texts that an appointment is cancelled but the client say they didn't cancel.

Three times now I've received text messages that a client has cancelled their appointment and the appointment is removed from the calendar. When I contact the clients to ask why they cancelled, they tell me they did NOT cancel. I've even missed a client's appointment because of this. How can I stop this from happening?
