I created my first order in Square which was very easy.
The "Fulfillment" box is mandatory and does not appear to have an option for a service sale.
In order to create the order I just pretend the item has been shipped and picked up, but is there a better way to represent a service sale?

Thanks for reaching out, @Cotal and Welcome to the Seller Community!
Just to confirm, are you making the orders through the Square dashboard, or the Square Online dashboard?

Not sure Bernadette.
Am using Square via a Virtual Terminal session via a browser on my PC, not on a phone.

Hi @Cotal - Violet here, following up for @BernadetteA. It looks like you still need help with this, so I kept the ball rolling on your inquiry.
It sounds like you are processing payments through the Virtual Terminal on your Dashboard vs managing Online Orders through Square Online. I did a test on the Virtual Terminal and was able to select "charge" after adding an item/price to the checkout without having to complete the "fulfillment details" section.
If you are seeing differently on your end, could you please share a screenshot of any errors messages?
Thank you 🙂
