I bought a terminal in Canada but can't put in a Canadian address

I bought a Square Terminal in Canada at Best Buy. I am setting up my account as per the instructions and I cannot set up to start taking payments as I have to put in an address and it only shows the US option. 

 

How to I set up my account and terminal to accept a Canadian address?

 

Having issues also putting in a Canadian phone number as it tells me it's not a valid number (and I add the 1 before the number, and tried without)

Hi @hamiltonfilm , thanks for posting and welcome to the Seller Community 👋.

 

It sounds like you created a US Square account. While it's not possible to change the country once you've created an account, you can easily delete it and create a new one online here. Make sure to select Canada (English) as your locale.

If you want to use the same email address, make sure to modify it from your US account before deleting the account. Or feel free to reach out to our Support Team by phone and they'll be happy to help.

I should also say that I am in Canada, not trying to sell in the US. Even my profile banner has an American flag and I don't know why.
