Tell us about your business!
Hair studio located just northeast of downtown Seattle. I cater to working moms and their families to deliver effortlessly chic styles that can duplicated out of the salon to leave you feeling your best. Jessturing LLC is dedicated to impacting the community through service, creativity, imagination, and originality.
Within that, Jess Poynter Style offers a unique beauty experience, filled with playfulness, expertise, and understanding. I came to be a hairstylist in a COMPLETELY roundabout way, but that journey made me a better stylist today.
Where is your business located?
Bothell, WA.
What has been your proudest moment in your business?
Not only surviving through, but now thriving after a global pandemic!
If you could give yourself one piece of advice when you first started your business, what would it be?
You need to have a life outside of work.
What’s been the most challenging part of running your business?
Not being too hard on myself and comparing myself to my peers.
Who is a woman identified business owner that you consider a role model and why?
Britt Seva. Amazing mentor for those in and out of the beauty industry.
