How do you unlink an auto populated email address to the send receipt function?

I had been sending an email receipt to myself and my customer.  Somehow Square is overriding thier email address and using mine as a default.  So now I am getting their receipts when they get ice cream and buy soap.  How can I unlink my email and make sure theirs is in there as a default every time they buy something?  I went into my settings and selected to get a receipt in my email each time I charge someone, so I have that covered and do not need to email myself the receipts anymore, but I still cannot get my email out of thier account.

Good question and sorry for the frustration here!

 

You'll need to unlink your email address from your customer's payment card. You can do that when you pull up one of the email receipts you received or by contacting us and we can do it for you. Then the next time your customer pays with that card with a Square seller, they can relink their email address.
