Just posting to celebrate that our bakery, Rise’n Roll Bakery, won fan favorite donut from the National donut Underground America's Greatest Donuts fan voting contest for our Cinnamon Caramel Donut. That is 2 year's in a row. We won many other donuts too but this is our most famous donut that started as our only donut when the founding Amish couple baked out of their house. Now with more than a dozen locations we have people come in from hours away looking for that "Amish Crack" the nickname our donut has gotten because it is so addictive 🤣.

CONGRATTTTTSSSSSSS! What an accolade to get 2 years in a row @VanKalkerFarms How has it impacted biz??
The first year it happened it literally spiked sales 100% or more for the first week. The very first day the award company was on Fox local news giving out the awards with our donuts for the news team and we were sold out by 9am. we doubled our order and were sold out by 10 am next day, then 50% more on top of that and sold out at 10am again, so we 250% our normal saturday order and sold out at 3pm.
In the long run we are up more than 20% even a year later. hard to pin it on that only, but it made a huge difference for the first 3-5 weeks and even when it was getting back to normal, normal was higher than it was before.
This might even be worth traveling to Illinois for.
Thankfully the bakeries are in Indiana, a few minutes over the border from Illinois. 🤣
Here's an open invitation to move your operations to Wisconsin.
Yeahhhh!! This is amazing @VanKalkerFarms !!! Congratulations!!

I saw that on the IG account! Congrats from one donut maker to another! We're in the running for Best Donuts in Maine against 4 other shops (one of which has never lost I believe) so hopefully some of your good mojo rubs off!
Good luck!! Please keep us posted!
Made it on the Chicago news. Two other Chicago donut places and our head of franchises were on talking about the awards and our donuts.

So cool @VanKalkerFarms! Well deserved recognition! 🏅 🍩 ✨
P.S. Can I also just say how much I'm obsessed with Jeff's donut themed sweatshirt!? 🤩
