Subscriptions in Beauty Industry

We're excited about starting a membership program with our clients. It's proving difficult to manage because when they sign up online, it does not translate to their name under our customer database. How do we get this corrected?

Our front desk staff needs to see if the Subscription is active.

Hello @Sanida. At this time Subscriptions are only managed via the Square Dashboard > Subscriptions page. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

In the meantime, you can authorize your front of staff to see Subscriptions on the dashboard via Team Permissions.

Hi @Sanida in case this is still a need for you please let me know.

My name is Dan I've worked in point of sale and payments for 7+ years and developed a software to help retail businesses leverage subscriptions.  It's called Submatic (https://www.submatic.io/).

We have an integration with Square that automates discounts and product redemptions based on the rules that you configure.  For example you can create a membership for a product or which entitles the member to a discount.  Our software tracks and communicates the membership benefits with Square so that you don't have to track anything manually.

If you're interested in getting more info or checking out a trial let me know.  You can send me a direct message here on the forum, just hover your mouse over my username and then click "Send Message". Thanks
