Hello Everyone!

 My name is Nikki and I own a small salon we built in a room of the home. I started out in the industry as a nail technician but quickly realized that I had a passion for everything Beauty related. So I soon became a full licensed Cosmetologist. I wanted to be able to properly care and style my mixed kids hair. That was 4 years ago and I’m still learning! 
I started right off with booth renting while also working for a local business doing nails. While I am so grateful to the owner for giving me a chance with my own spot and being super flexible while I got things moving, I soon realized that as a single mother I was not able to care for my kids once summer came back around. So I had to leave my booth and figure out other options. After a ton of hard work and remodeling (thank you family!) I was able to start my own business, The Beauty Vineyard in August 2018. Though I had a couple of my regulars follow me to my new location it was essentially starting all over again. I was just getting booked up again in 2019 when COVID decided to visit Utah. I didn’t want to have to close my doors as I just had gained momentum, but my care for my clients, community and family won out. After being closed for almost 2 months, many still were hesitant to return. Now over a year later I’m still trying to pick back up to where I was before. Here’s hoping and sending positivity out!
I’ve recently added hair extensions to my services and have been master certified through Hairtalk weft and tape-in methods.

My name is Kam and I was taken on a wild ride to drop everything and to just fully trust in the Holy Spirit. I’ve been at this for two years now and sharing this story always gets a lot of opinions and doubts but I am here to spread love and light.

My beauty niche is eyelash extensions and I have been doing them for about 4-5 years. I became an energy healer and along the way started receiving messages from Jesus Christ. Before covid hit I was asked to start a YouTube channel that contain these messages. The last video uploaded was right as covid was starting up and it landed on 4 min and 44 seconds.

My journey is my journey and is something I cherish. We all have a purpose and we all link up to one destiny, Heaven on Earth.

My clients have loved the cozy one on one setting and I have enjoyed creating that space for them.

  I’ve been using square and have been pleased with it so far. There are a few small details on the backend that would be helpful tweaks. But overall it’s a great tool for me and my bussiness.

When I am not behind the chair, I am with my family. My husband and I have been married since 2014 and we are cat Daddies to our cat who we adopted/inherited a few years ago. We love doing board games and puzzles as a family and updating our apartment windows and balcony space with seasonal lights and decals.

I love preparing our meals most of the time at home, and I do my part to protect my environment by not wasting much of anything and composting, reusing, repurposing, and recycling whenever possible.

I have a soap and Bath & Body business on the side of a full time job. After 6 years of slogging along, I've finally experienced enough growth in the last 2 years that I can consider leaving my FT job (probably going to a PT job to begin with) without affecting my family's income. I'm really looking forward to talking with others who have made this leap and learning as much as I can.

On the personal side, I have an extremely supportive husband, 4 kids (3 boys and a girl, 2 of the boys have graduated from HS), and 2 cats - Fatman and Bean. We're active in our local homebrew beer club, otherwise we enjoy our home life.
