Website not transferred over from previous supplier?

Hi there,

 

I opened an Etsy shop and added a website from Pattern and have now gone through the steps of transferring it to Square, my site is showing nothing (its not configured correctly) or its been hacked, is there anything I should be doing or can anyone help or do I wait ?

Sorry to hear you're running into this issue! When you try to access the site, can you let me know the exact error message that you're getting? Is it coming up blank or are you getting a 404 error or something different? 

 

If you can share a screenshot with us — along with the link to the website — I can definitely investigate on my end here. When transferring the site, did you get any errors as well when following the steps outlined in this article?

Yes its a 404 error, there was no errors at my end when i transferred the site over it seemed to do it okay.

I can see your DNS records are pointing correctly to Square's IP address. When did you make the changes to those records? 

 

[Update] - Just double-checked your site and it looks to be live and secure now 😊 

 

Any changes to DNS records take 24/48 hours to populate so that's why you were receiving that 404 error. 

 

Looks to be all good now but let me know if there's anything else I can help with. (Also love the website, very cute 🐶)
