Hello,
Just saying hello to everyone and hoping you have all had a good Christmas, etc.
I have setup a Square (Free) website for my gf's little personalised item shop which has gone well on the likes of Etsy and Facebook but even though people say the website looks good and it has the same items we struggle to get orders that way.
It would be great to find out where we are going wrong as we would love to have the full website, etc but until we get some sales its not worth the expense.
The shop is Brandys Bespoke Vinyl and the square website can be found on google.
Thanks
GRS20

Hi Emma
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I will be working on the SEO section as best I can.
Its just that people dont seem to want to order from the free square website that we have setup despite our current and previous efforts.
I dont quite know why not as the products are the same and so are the prices.
I am sure everyone would love to know the answer but we are just looking for a first sale let alone our 1000th.
Thanks

Hey @GRS20, thanks for clarifying that information. I'm just stepping in for Emma here.
We as Community Moderators wouldn't be specialists on how to grow your customer base, so we wouldn't be able to provide any guidance for you on that topic. However, hopefully, another one of our sellers will be able to chime in on how they made it work for them.
We also don’t provide SEO consultation for your Square Online site through our Support Centre, here are some suggestions to help you grow your website traffic:
- Spread the word: Tell your customers, family and friends about your site.
- Optimise for search engines: Make sure people can find your website or items when they search online by following our Ultimate SEO Guide.
- Update regularly: Keep your website content fresh with blog-style Stories to give visitors a reason to come back.
- Use your social networks: Post your site to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn or other social networks whenever you update your content.
- Promote your site: Add a link to your email signature, and include a link to your site when you post to forums or comment on articles.
- Start an email newsletter: Use newsletter sign-up pop-ups on your site as a tool to bring visitors back to your website and continue email promotions with email marketing.
- Get reciprocal links: Swap links with other websites that have a similar audience to drive free, qualified traffic. Join our Seller Community to get connected with other sellers that also use Square Online.
