how do i batch update prices in my online store?
I've tried to update my spreadsheet, and then just import it to change the prices on the items already in my store, but no matter what I do, this does not work. I get a failed import with the message "We were unable to import x items because of issues with their listings in Square." and the 'issues' are that the items are already in the store, and instead of updating the prices, it is doubling them, and then saying I have "duplicate named variations". any suggestions? I'm sure this must be a simple fix...but I can not figure it out. thanks

Hi @HerbalMagic. I don't think it is possible to use the import/export function since you are using the new Square Online Store editor. Are you using trying to import on Weebly's end or Square's end?

HI Bernadette,
I'm using the square side, and choosing import library, and then modify library. "add new items, adn update your existing ones. Existing items will be revised, not deleted."
but it's not working that way.

Sorry for the delay, @HerbalMagic I put this in my hold queue and didn't realize how long it had been since I last followed up. I don't see anything in the settings that looks off, although, I don't have access to your Square dashboard to verify. When I look at your settings, it looks like everything has imported properly expect for the Dog Bandanas. That shows the error you described, but it's from July. Have you experienced the same error on other products and if so, can you let me know the exact product name? Thanks so much and sorry again for long response time!

hi Bernadette!
Thanks for getting back to me. I've tried this method numerous times and it NEVER works. But after seeing your reply, I thought I'd try it one more time, and see before responding. And it SUDDENLY IS WORKING! YAY!!! I don't know what you did, but thanks!

hmmm...maybe I spoke too soon. I just tried it again, and all but 2 imported correctly, and those 2 gave me the same error. "Item must not have duplicate named variations." But they are listed the exact same way as all the other items I was importing.

Weird.. now I see 3 and all the dates are from July. But if you click Setup>Square Sync you will see that some of the updates were successful. The last note in activity is that 4 items have failed to update, but only 3 are listed. Let me see if I can get some clarification from advanced support.
