credit card declined for delivery only

We just started our delivery service this week and it's been going great.  But yesterday I had a customer try to enter an order for delivery but her card was declined.  She changed the option to pick up and it went through.  She has plenty of money in her account to cover the charge.  It was a larger charge for our store, $44+ but I don't see where there are any maximum amounts for delivery.  

Anyone have a clue how to find out what happened so we don't have other customers get declined credit cards for their delivery orders?

I haven't hear of this issue before. Is this the only delivery order that did not go through?
