can orders received through weebly get sent to orders section of square terminal
I have a website set up through Weebly. When a customer places an order, it gets sent to my email address. However, I am wondering if there is a way for that order to show up in the orders section of my square terminal. Is this possible? It is really inconvenient to have to check my email for orders. I want to see orders show up in my square terminal. Thanks for your help.

Hey there, @plawFork -
Welcome to the Community!
Yes, you can receive those Online Order alerts to your Square Terminal.
Check out this Product Update for all of the details on how to get started.
Thank you for posting. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for getting back to me. Is there any way to receive order alerts on my Samnsung tablet? This is what I meant when I said Square Terminal. I didn't realize the Square Terminal was an actual device. I would like to see orders made through my weebly site show up in the orders section of my tablet's square app. Thanks again for your response.
Best,
Patrick

@plawFork Not a problem!
Definitely you can get those notifications through other avenues.
You have the option of receiving them through the Square Point of Sale app or the Weebly app, if you'd like.
The choice is up to you.

Update your preference for notifications in the POS app, open the navigation menu > Settings, and scroll down to Orders.
-
Notification Settings: By default, notifications will be enabled — you can disable or adjust how often you’re notified of new orders. Choose to be notified every 5, 15, or 30 minutes.

Thanks Kassarole, those preferences were already set. All the notifications in my square app were on. I think the weebly site isn't communicating with my square pos app. The weebly site/store processes payments through my square accout. But the actual order, where I can see what customers want, doesn't show up in anywhere in the square app. Thanks for your help!

No problem, @plawFork!
Just to confirm - do you have your Weebly site and Square account under the same email or are they different?
I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.

Hi @plawFork Your site was created with the original Weebly editor, and I don't believe you can sync orders the same way as users that have the Square Online editor.
You would need to recreate the site by setting up a Square Online site (through your Square editor) in order to get the most benefit of using the two products. We can help you move any paid services over to the new site when you are ready.
You can find out more about the Square Online editor here.

Hi Bernadette,
Thanks for taking up my question. I was hoping this wouldn't be the case, but oh well. Is there anyway to transfer the complete version of my website onto the Square editor without having to recreate my entire site step by step? Also, if I decide to transition over to the Square online editor, can I still use the same domain? Also, what would happen with my weebly account? Can I shut that down and stop paying my subscription? That might make it worth the effort to make the transition. Am I correct that the the square online store using the square editor is free since I have a square account? Thanks again for your help.
Best,
Patrick

Hi again. The only option would be to rebuild the site, but do you want to take a look at this post? I think your account may be a good candidate for the Weebly Bridge program. There's a survey link you can fill out to verify, although I'm not 100% sure if the beta program is still open.
If not, and you end up rebuilding the site, we can absolutely help you move the hosting plan and domain name to the new account. The Square Online editor does have a lot of free features, but a paid plan is required for things like a custom domain, and certain shipping features.
