Want to add CC payment via STRIPE without a storefront

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can just include the STRIPE e-commerce link into an already existing page, rather than creating a storefront. I provide services, and just want to provide a link where people can make credit card payments. Is that possible?

Thanks

Hello!

Unfortunately, no. Stripe must be integrated into the eCommerce frame work. They do not offer the ability to create buttons. Therefore, the only way to use Stripe is to use our eCommerce platform.

You can use Paypal, if you want to create custom buttons. But that is the only option. I am very sorry.

Hello.
Can I use a custom paypal button if I don't have a business account? And will it look unprofessional?
Thanks

You can integrate Stripe into your page by using JotForm....

Thanks. I've chosen to connect stripe through wordpress, but wonder if there are other ways of using paypal without a business account. Do you know if you can do something similar with paypal?

Hey there! Just to clarify things a bit, are you looking to just have a PayPal button? What do you intend to use it for?

Hello,

I have stripe already with my weebly account and want to add a paypal button because I have a paypal account that I can accept payments into. I see weebly offers paypal, but at the business account rate and I'm not ready to pay for that - I'm just starting up. Still, I want clients to have the option if they need to pay via paypal. If I insert a paypal button, that will send them to paypal website? Is that right? And they can make payment through there?

It wouldn't integrate with the Store functionality, in that case, though embedding a button through custom code is possible.

Hi, thanks for your help. What's custom code? And how would it work?

Also, where would be the best place to embed it? I wouldn't be able to integrate it to cart, so maybe the store or rates page? seems a bit cumbersome ... mmm.

Custom PayPal buttons are generated at PayPal:

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_web-tools&fli=true&fli=true

Once you've generated the code for your button with that you can just paste it into an Embed Code element.

Hi Adam / Weebly / Anyone who can help,

I think it's fantastic that Weebly can easily integrate with Stripe.

But I'm having a problem with its functionality when integrating new customer purchases into my third provider email autoresponder. I want the customer to receive emails from my autoresponder after they make a purchase.

It's very easy to integrate Stripe with any email autoresponder using the Zapier API. The problem is that Weebly does not send the customer email addresses to Stripe. Ergo, it's not possible to integrate Stripe with my email autoresponder (Convertkit).

When a sale is made, Weebly sends all details to Stripe including the customer physical address, name, area code e.t.c. But not the email address (which is the most important data point needed for integration with a third party email autoresponder).

Is there a way to make Weebly send customer email addresses to Stripe as part of the Weebly / Stripe automatic integration? I'm not great with coding...

Many Thanks,

Jon

I saw your post to Vote on Features about this, @JonathanHobbs, though I'll post the link to the Promote help article here since it would be relevant to anyone else wanting to do this (with Promote rather than Zapient, though):

A few of my customers use Weebly and this popped up, so I decided to recommend it here. My service Checkout Page lets you create hosted payment pages for each of the products or amounts you want to sell. In your Weebly site you can add a link or button to send the visitor to the checkout on Checkout Page, or you can embed the form into your website directly using an iframe. Checkout Page connects to your Stripe account so you will receive the funds of your sales (excluding fees) there directly.
