Viewing an Inventory Management User Guide before Upgrading Site

I am considering upgrading my site to the Starter Plan so that I can sell items on my site.  I don't need to track inventory but what I do need to do is to be able to show a specific variation of an Item as Out of Stock.  I can see there is a global setting to allow someone to display this badge, but I'm assuming I can't see any inventory options because I have yet to upgrade (I'm on the Free version at the moment).  The comparison of each plan features shows that with the Starter I can utilise these badges but Inventory is not included.

I will only upgrade once I know Weebly will do what I want.... In detail....

Item A has different sizes and colours.  I have set these up, but don't see how I can set one of the varieties as 0 Stock so that the Out of Stock label will appear.  I can't have the Out of Stock label appear at the top Item level, it has to be against the specific option.  Example:  A shirt which can be red or blue and in size small or large for both.  Thats 4 versions of the same Item.  If the Red version has both sizes in stock but the blue only has the Large, I want to be able to show that Blue Small is out of stock.

I can't see anything online that shows a) how to set that up, and b) what it looks like.

Thank you.

Thanks for your post, @steviek.

It is possible to set specific variations as out of stock, although you do this by setting the stock level of the variation to zero. In order to do that, you'll need to be on the business plan or higher since this is not included with Starter or Pro like you've seen.
