Simple Tips For A Beautiful Product Photo!

We are taking so much “time andmoney” on promoting the products but we forget that we need to improve the images of products which will make purchased behavior of our clients by themselves.BUT HOW TO DO THAT?

All of us want the products eye-catching and professional but not anyone have financial conditions to own a studio and a digital camera with excellent image quality.

In this video we will introduce you the simplest and least expensive way to have the most professional product picture. Or you can read this guide to do that.

Making a beautiful and eye-catching product image is not hard. You even don’t need remove the background of your product image. Here I will guide you the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

Here’s what you need:

  1. A camera or a smartphone

  1. A window

  1. A table

  1. Pure-white mat board

  1. A piece of white foam core

  1. An exactor Knife

and some tape

LET’S BEGIN

  1. Setting-up your table. When you’re taking pictures of your products, you’re looking for soft even lighting. Make sure your table is as close to your window as possible with being indirect sunlight. Natural light is all you need, so go ahead and turn off any lights in the room if they are on.

  1. Next setting-up your background, so take your piece of mat board and lie it flat on your table. Lift one end up and move it up to the wall until it curves. Make sure there is enough space to fit yourproduct. And then tape the board in place.

  1. Now take your product and place it in the middle of flat surface. Score your piece of foam core with an exactor knife and bend it so it makes a corner. Then place your foam core on the side of your product that’s furthest from the window. This will bounce the window light onto your product, which will create even lighting and soften any shadow.

  1. Now you are ready to shoot. Use manual settings if you know, if not that’s ok: set your camera auto. If you use a DSLR, make sure to set your lens to auto-focus as well. You can use a smartphone instead of a camera.

Let’s frame up the shot. Make sure your product is placed in the center of the image with the label facing the camera.

Note: the best way, having your camera at the same height of your products, but try to experiment with different angles, depending on how you want your product to look.

  1. Taking the picture of your product by your camera or smartphone. Note: If you are using a smartphone, just tap your product on the screen to focus it and then take the picture.

  1. Finally, choose the best picture you have to post on your website. Of course, your photos are probably looking pretty good right now, but you can edit a little bit before posting them, It all depends on you. Good Luck

I am having a very difficult time with certain colors...

What would you suggest?

When taking pics of items that are light sage green, or a light mint green, they come out either grey, blue, or too green.

I take my pics mainly with my IPad or IPhone...
I also have several APPS for color editing, but none of them work for these colors...
