Selling items by weight online

Hi all

I can seem to work out how to sell items by weight effectively online.

It works fine for POS - with the item set to a weight unit type

However online, it shows the price / kg - but the customer can only order in increments of 1 - which I assume relate to KG

So they can only order in whole Kg.

I need customers to be able to order for example 500g

Sorry about that. Sometimes the system auto-flags responses, but I'm honestly not sure how it flags something as spam. 😕

If someone purchases in store, would they be more likely to need a half amount? Do you "pre-package" bulk items for people to grab and go? The only thing I can think for you to do is to add variations for multiple sizes/amounts. This way people can pick from a dropdown and the price is already pre-calculated.

Customers can buy loose by weight.

Its frustrating because it works great in Square POS - you enter the qty in grams and it works out how much it is.

I just want the customer to enter in grams, or a decimal number in KG.

I could add variations...but its a shame the website can't handle it, when the POS can
